Lazy Sunday~1/9/11

I love lazy Sunday mornings....  Waking up to sunshine, grabbing a cup of coffee, getting on the computer & seeing what the world is up to!  Then, snuggling on the couch to read the paper.
My first outing today since my surgery-about time, I'm going CrAzY : /  I probably would have ventured out sooner, but it's been too dang cold!  We are having our 1st celebration of 3 for Mason's birthday (he turns 8 tomorrow!!)  Why 3 you ask?  Mike & I both have big families, so it would be too many darn people at 1 time!  But that's ok-we like lots of celebrating. So, that's a party for each side & then, of course, his friend party.  So, today, we celebrate with mine.  We are going out to Robbin's (Oshkosh) for brunch, cake & presents.  They have prime rib on the buffet & Mason's favorite is steak, so he'll be loving it!  We usually have the family parties at our house, but w/our house a disaster from our closet project & my surgery after effects, this seemed like a much better plan!

Mike spoils me with gifts at my birthday & Christmas (which, of course, I LOVE), so I just had to post one of my very favorite.  I just love this little mushroom.  The colors make me feel warm & fuzzy.  I could literally stare at it for an hour.  It's suppose to be for my yard (I have all kinds of things snuck into places throughout in the summer), but it's so cute I put it in my kitchen!
